Versatile packaging for your current and future favorite brews.

Golden Age Beer’s focus is crafting fresh, beautiful lagers for a local Pittsburgh audience.  They rarely package in single serving portions and don’t ship further than the city limits. But if you want have a cold one waiting in the fridge at home, you can grab a 32 oz. crowler on your next visit.

Head Brewer Aaron Dahl loves to experiment with new products and recipes, so it was important to design a versatile crowler label which could be used on any current or future GA product, leaving space for a quick hand written notion of name, can date, and ABV.  It was also a fun place to try out new can designs to measure customer response and see how they looked in a well-stocked chiller.

Make it look good, even if no one sees it.

At your favorite tap room, stashed away in a basement chiller are stacks of kegs waiting to pour forth the golden nectar inside. Few guests ever see them, but we still wanted to properly present the brand with a simple, one-color wrap (as well as make sure that the empties find their way home).

I also created a custom, full-color, cardstock keg collar which clearly denoted information about the beer inside so an overworked barback could quickly determine which product needs to be swapped, and bar managers could easily track their inventory of Golden Age Beer.  Often these are very basic affairs, but if you are going to design something, you take the time to make it special.
